Alternate title: Embarrassing Oneself On the Internet….Again.
We have a weed problem. Due to various reasons, too numerous and varied to mention, the weeds got ahead of us this year. Well, they often do but this year it seems extra “bountiful”.
The Weeds are up and down the driveway, around and in the parking area and taking over the driveway to the shop. One method of weed control we are aggressively pursuing is the “Drive Over Those Puppies” application.

At first the kids were a little apprehensive about going down the driveway at such a slant but now think it’s quite fun. We’ve all come to appreciate the smell of weeds burning on the exhaust.
It even works, kind of. It’s sort of environmentally friendly- no chemicals being sprayed about. It’s an efficient use of time- The Col. is on his way to work here.
I think it’s a “win, win” situation.
I am completely cracking up over this! So I must ask how this all came about. Were you driving down the driveway and noticed how out of hand they were getting and the more you thought about it the more anger built inside and out of rage you decided to run them over? Or were you simply sitting in your house and realized that they needed to die so after going through all your options you thought driving over them was the best?
I have to hand it to you for saving the environment and also for abiding by the “work smarter, not harder” rule. lol. Great post!

This may be billed as weed control, but it works great for ruts, too. Course it has to rain to get ruts, but hey.

Lindsey- I don’t think it’s burning rage. Just pleasure at making their lives uncomfortable. We didn’t sit around discussing it, we have far more important things to discuss- like which Looney Tunes cartoon to watch.
KN- it actually did rain the day you made your comment. First rain in two months. But there aren’t any ruts in the driveway, anyway.
