Rose #1 Cropped (2 Comments)
I have a passionate supporter of Rose #1. She sent me a cropped version of it and I do have to say it makes a difference. Here it is cropped and with a few of the background distractions gone. What do you think?
Or, why not go all the way?
I like the close up of it in the second picture. There are no distractions as to it’s beauty.

I like both almost equally! I think what I like about the first is the feeling of success — that it’s rising above the rest — although I’m sure the other blooms are all very beautiful in their own right. The second one feels like a promise: I’m here now, but look, there are several of us, with a long stream of pretty ahead.
