Trees (10 Comments)

Filed under: Life,Photos — The Spider Herself @ 7:02 pm

I glanced out the kitchen window as I was making dinner and saw the sun shining on the trees with the dark sky behind.

I thought that I had better not stop. I had better fix dinner. Then I thought- what kind of photographer are you?

Those are robins in the tree.

So I turned the burners down, grabbed the camera and went out the door as I checked my ISO and F-stop settings. (Oooo! sounds like I know what I am doing, doesn’t it? Ha!)

The sun was cooperative for a few more minutes and I shot away.

The kids can starve.

  1. Very nice pictures. You thought you had better not stop so that you could make dinner??? Well I’m glad you did. There is always time for mundane things like dinner! “Stop and admire the Trees”, that’s always been my motto :~)

  2. That is great! Thanks for sharing with us! I loved that color of dark sky, I especially love it during a thunderstorm. I really love thunder and lightning storms!

Great pics I love how the light captures the textures on bark and makes the trees glow with that special sunset tone. Keep those pics coming.

  3. Jeesh, teach a girl how to post pictures and all of a sudden she is a photographer. 😉

    Nice light though.

Thunderstorms…. ick. Not fun to go through.

  4. Yep, just like when you give a guy a “Bimmer”, a wrench and a track and he calls himself a racer. 🙂

One has to justify the expensive equipment somehow.

I edited the post a little bit so next time you pop by give it another read.

  5. I don’t call myself a racer. I just call myself a nut.

Don’t let my comment throw you off. It wasn’t meant as a dig at your photography. You do very nicely with it.

My mechanical abilities… now that is something worthy of derision.

  6. I was trying to be funny back but it’s hard to tell tone in type.

I would call both of us an “enthusiast”

I figure if I take enough photos, one is bound to turn out nice once in awhile.
